Aventus is a sunscreen fabric, not a blackout shade. It filters light rather than blocking it. Three openness options are available: 1%, 3%, and 5%. At 1%, the fabric is nearly opaque from the outside and lets in the least light. At 5%, you get a clearer view out and more daylight through, while people outside still see significantly less than they would through bare glass. The 3% sits in between.

The cross-weave construction gives the fabric a tight, geometric surface. It does not stretch or sag over time, which matters for a shade that spends most of its time in the down position rather than rolled up.

Aventus works well in rooms where the window is part of why you like the space. A living room with a garden view, a home office facing the street, or a dining area where you want light and privacy at the same time.

Aventus is a shade you leave down, not one you raise and lower twice a day. The sunscreen fabric does its job in the down position, filtering glare and UV while keeping the view. What changes through the day is how much of the window you want covered, depending on where the sun is and how much privacy you need at that moment.

For a home office or living room that faces a street or a neighbor, that privacy level shifts. During a video call you might want the shade lower. Scheduling the shade to come down before peak sun hours and raise again in the afternoon means the protection is consistent without anyone having to remember to do it.

Because Aventus is a sunscreen fabric, the shade can stay down during daylight hours without making the room dark or cutting off the view. The automation runs in the background and the room continues to feel open and connected to the outside, while the UV load on surfaces inside is significantly reduced.

Aventus shades are fully cordless, which matters in rental properties and commercial spaces where window coverings are used by multiple people over time. There are no cords to break, tangle, or replace, and no mechanism that requires regular adjustment to keep working properly.

The sunscreen fabric holds its shape in the window without sagging or distorting, and the tight cross-weave surface does not show everyday wear the way softer fabrics do. For a shade that will be in the same window for years with minimal attention, that durability is more relevant than it is in a private home where the shade gets more careful handling.
