I have nothing but good feelings about my purchase
I bought 6 of these electronic switches to replace the mechanical ones I had. I find the design simple and very elegant. They are also well supported by Home Assistant with the Zigbee2MQTT integration, so you can switch the curtains up or down directly with your phone, from wherever you are. It is even possible to remove the backlights or reverse the motor direction. I am overall very happy with this purchase.
I bought three for one home and then bought two more for the other. Easy to install and with the app, you can program times, etc. Would love to see the app enhanced with the ability to tell it to skip a day of down shade if it is cloudy, and to check the forecast and not roll down if it is cloudy. Happy with my choice.
I use three of these IR transmitters to steer room fans, air condition and an electronic device which steers my pv module. It is the battery version, not the one with usb power.
I use it in Homeassistant with zigbee2mqtt.
It does not repeat IR signals as far as I know.
IT works perfectly fine even in spots where I thought that would never work. If something does not work it is a bad zigbee connection. (Which I have outside at the PV module control box)
If I recorded the same IR button from a remote control several times, it always gives a different code. But that does not matter because the unit which receives the signal does work even if it receives the same code over and over again.
No complains yet. (In use since 2 months.)
