Welcome to the installation guide for the MOES Star Feather Zigbee Smart Curtain Switch Anti glare Touch Panel. Please watch the video below or follow the step by step process to wire and set up your new smart curtain control system.
Safety Warning
Turn off the power at the circuit breaker before beginning the installation. Verify the power is off using a voltage tester.

- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
- Voltage tester
- Wire strippers
Installation and Wiring Steps
Step 1 Remove the Old Switch
Turn off the main power supply. Unscrew the faceplate and remove the existing curtain switch from the wall box. Gently pull the switch out to expose the wiring.
Step 2 Identify the Wires
Locate the four specific wires in your wall box. You need the Live wire Neutral wire Motor Open wire and Motor Close wire. The Neutral wire is required for this smart switch to function.
Step 3 Connect the MOES Curtain Switch
Loosen the screws on the back of the MOES Star Feather switch. Connect the wires accordingly
- Insert the Neutral wire into the N terminal.
- Insert the Live wire into the L terminal.
- Insert the Motor Open wire into the L1 terminal.
- Insert the Motor Close wire into the L2 terminal.
Tighten all screws securely to ensure solid electrical connections.
Step 4 Mount the Switch
Carefully fold the wires back into the wall box. Align the switch base with the mounting holes and secure it using the provided screws.
Step 5 Attach the Anti glare Touch Panel
Snap the Star Feather glass panel onto the switch base. Ensure all corners click into place for a flush fit against the wall.
Step 6 Restore Power and Pair
Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. The switch backlight will flash indicating it is ready for setup. Open the MOES App ensure your Zigbee Hub is online and add the new curtain switch. Follow the on screen prompts to complete the network pairing process.
Curtain Calibration
After successful pairing access the device settings in the MOES App to calibrate the curtain travel time. This ensures accurate open close and pause positioning for your daily use.
