What is a MOES ZigBee Hub, and why do my smart devices need it?

The ZigBee Gateway Hub acts as a translator between your ZigBee smart devices and your Wi-Fi network. Because ZigBee devices (like sensors and switches) operate on a different frequency and cannot connect directly to Wi-Fi, they require this hub to communicate with your phone app for remote control and automation.

As you add more wired devices, your network range extends automatically. You usually only need one hub unless you have a massive, disconnected property.

Will my devices automatically reconnect to the hub after a power outage?

Yes. Once power is restored to your home, the MOES ZigBee Hub will automatically power back on, and all your previously paired ZigBee devices will seamlessly reconnect to the network without any manual setup required.
